Have you submitted to the Spirit of This World?


1 John 2:15-17, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the LUST OF THE FLESH, and the LUST OF THE EYES, and the PRIDE OF LIFE, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."

Romans 6:16, "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

Have you submitted to the Spirit of This World? Saints are God's chosen people set apart and separated from the World. Saints are distinctively and clearly different from those who are of this world. Saints don't submit to the lust of this World nor do they meditate upon them. Saints of the most high do not share the same morals and values of those who love the World. 

Where are God's people? Few and far between are set apart and detached from this evil and cruel world. Wonder why the world MOCK's God. Are you adding to his mockery, by claiming to be a follower, but your thoughts are aligned with those of this world. Are you concerned with what concerns the people of this World, or are your thoughts focused on the things that are above, and that are everlasting? 

The grace of Jesus Christ is being misused, the creation is taking advantage of the creator. Turn away from the World and its lust. Focus only on the things above, entertain yourselves with things that bring life and not death. You will become like what you meditate on. Remember Jesus is coming back for a Church without spot or blemish. We must give him all of our lives, 100%, leaving no room for the Spirit of this World. 

Don't depart from the manuscript that he has given us. Meditate upon the Word of The Lord day and night, without ceasing. Our lives are a sacrifice, this is how we deny ourselves, by seeking his will continually without ceasing. Deny yourself, and you will grow spiritually, and your faith will increase. There is nothing else in this World that is more important that continually being washed with his Word. The choices we make today, determine where we will be in eternity. Don't wait on the end of the world to get your life right, because your world might end tomorrow!

What are you asking from the Lord?


Luke 11:5-13, "he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.

 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?"

This scripture is often misused as away for people to get their Worldy Lust fulfilled using scripture to back it up, but if you read the entire passage, starting at verse one through thirteen, you will see what Jesus's true point was with this scripture. It wasn't for possessions, but for the Holy Spirit. 

This text wonderfully explains the importance of persistence and praying according to the will of God. In order to pray effectively we must know what his will is. His will is known to us through prayer and time spent with the Lord. Jesus clearly states in verse 13 that he will give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him, explaining that it isn't given without persistence. The Gift of the Holy Spirit is freely given be in order to receive it we must persistently pursue it. The pursuit of a deeper knowledge and relationship with Christ doesn't stop once we receive the Holy Spirit, nor does the persistence that we once had to receive it. 

We must continue to passionately seek his will and allow the Holy Spirit to transform us into his image. His image in which that the fruit of the Spirit are manifested within our lives. Lets pick up the pace, and seek the Lord like there is no tomorrow. Its God we are talking about here!!

Has Sin Reproduced Itself in your Life?

Sin has a way of reproducing itself as time progresses.  These are referred to as generational curses. Issues and problems that recur in the lives of children and their children’s children. Generational curses have existed since Adam and Eve. David and his family is a prime example of the effects that sin has on you and those you are connected to. 2 Samuel 11 tells the story of David and Bathsheba, David’s and most of our issues begin when we aren't acting according to God’s will. We venture off and begin to engage in an activity or be somewhere that we do not belong. We must be sure that we aren't being led by our own desires but by God’s. His desire brings Peace and Joy, but the desires of the flesh brings forth sin and death.

David belonged at war, because this was the time that Kings usually went to war. Acting out of character David remained in Jerusalem and wondered straight into temptation. On the roof of the palace he noticed Bathsheba bathing, and sought after her. Not refusing to act on the desires within him, but was led away by his lust. In the Lord’s Prayer we often recite the part that mentions “lead us not into temptation”, but we must remember to be where God has ordained us to be in order for us not to be led into temptation.

This is so true; many people you may know would be a live to day or lives would have turned out differently if they would have been where they were supposed to be instead of where their desires led them. David acting out of character allowed him to be tempted beyond his own ability to abstain from sinning. He later on committed adultery with Bathsheba, and had her husband killed. Not only did he commit adultery with this woman, but he had to sin again to cover up the sin that he had committed. Uriah who was Bathsheba’s husband appears to be a noble man according to the text in Samuel.

But he was caught in between the sin of two adulterers. I wonder did Uriah know that his wife bathed on the rooftop or was just this one occurrence? Could this have been prevented if Uriah had told his wife not to bathe on the rooftop?

David tried to manipulate Uriah, even going to the extent of getting him drunk in order for him to sleep with his wife Bathsheba. David tried multiple ways to get Uriah to sleep with Bathsheba in order to cover up his sinful act. I wonder what would have happened if David would have repented before the Lord at the moment, and didn’t try to solve his problem by himself? The effects of David’s sin didn’t stop there, the first son that Bathsheba bore died from an illness. David’s family was rebellious and lived in turmoil. 

David’s son Amnon raped his half-sister Tamar, and that led to Absalom killing Amnon as an act of revenge. Later on Absalom rebelled against David and slept with ten of his father’s concubines. Abonijah tried to set himself up as king before David died when Solomon would be ordained King. Later during Solomon’s reign he had Adonijah executed.

David’s sinful acts really went on to affect his family, and many of the issues he faced, his sons faced especially Solomon. Solomon had an issue with woman that he couldn’t stop, and it led to his fall. The sins we allow to overpower us and control us will be passed on to our children. But Jesus Christ himself came to break those curses, and allows us to overcome sin in our lives, Isaiah 53, Gal 3:13, John 8:36.

Selfishness

Selfishness means to be devoted to or caring only for oneself.  The issue with selfishness and denying our flesh is because it places our needs before God. God commands us that we put no other God before him, and that we love our neighbor as we love ourselves.  It is quite evident that selfishness is idolatry, worshiping ourselves and putting our needs and cares before Gods. Some may say I have needs and issues too, but are they more important than Gods.

Cain acted in a selfish manner towards his sacrifice that he was giving to the Lord. Abel showed what the Lord requires and delights in, Selflessness. Abels sacrifice was more of a sacrifice than Cains. In return Cain’s own selfishness led him to kill his brother after the Lord himself warned him that sin was crouching at the door and that he must rule over it.

Selfishness causes us to override the Word and Will of God, and to pursue our own lusts and desires. At this point Cain was Angry, and jealous, thus decided to kill his brother. This entire situation could have been avoided if Cain had been selfless as God requires. Selfishness doesn’t allow us to follow Gods laws, or for us to be led by him. In our flesh, we have desires that we are born with, desires to please ourselves.  Just about everything in our world today is made to bring pleasure to ourselves.  It isn’t wrong, but we must maintain a balance and not let those things become IDOLS in our lives.

We must exert self-control, and not let our passions and desires overtake us. In the Old Testament they dealt with IDOLS that where exterior, but now in Christendom we deal with IDOLS that are inward.  Walking with Christ requires self-denial daily. We must bare our cross and follow after Christ each and every day of our lives. Continually being led by the Holy Spirit, and growing in Spiritual Wisdom and Understanding.  Selfishness births false doctrines, manipulating the Word of God to fit our own Agendas that are birthed from our own evil and wicked hearts.

Jude 3-16 talks about individuals who are led away by their own evil desires, who were coming against the church at the time. In The Body of Christ today we are dealing with the same issue, but many are drunken from the wine of the harlot. Jesus told many parables of tares who would spring forth among the wheat, but they wouldn’t be removed because they would lead to our edification and growth in Christ. They are hear in sheeps clothing, hard to depict from listening to with just one sermon or even ten, but requires one to study to show thyself approved.

The Apostles and Ministers of the Gospel in the New Testament dealt with doctrines that denied Christ to some degree.  The devil trying to cause disunity and hinder the growth of the Body of Christ. This was his first option because of the time. Jesus just arrived on the scene and he could only deny his power, and identity. He couldn’t yet manipulate the doctrine because of the Churches Birth. Today the devil has tried a different trick, but certainly not new. Instead of denying Christ, and his power, lets join him but pervert his Gospel.

Glorifying selfish men who would change the message of God to benefit and bring glory to them, or to please their audience. A little leaven, leavens the whole lump is true.  First off, birthing the Roman Catholic (Universal Church), and then men establishing denominations at their own convenience confused with the total will of God.  There are no denominations in the Bible that I have read. Every denomination IDOLIZES one part of God’s Word which doesn’t lead to a deeper relationship with Christ.  Some Pentecostals focus on the Tongue, some Baptist emphasize baptism, and etc.  There is liberty and order within the body of Christ. Everything has a purpose and a place, but Christ is at the head.  The letter killeth but the Spirit of the Lord brings life.

As the Body of Christ, let’s be selfless when studying Gods Word, not reading the word with our own expectations of what we will find, or what is or will be revealed to us. Let us take our hands off of the steering wheel and let God have his proper place in our lives. Let’s take up our Cross and deny ourselves daily, taking upon the nature of Christ, and learn more of him. Continuing to be separated from the Spirit of this World, realizing our true purpose and what we hope in. Hoping in the Glory of his return which is soon to come.
Submitting to his will, and interceding on the behalf of those who are lost, and the Body of Christ.

Perseverance

Today in our Christian walk we face a multitude of various problems. Problems such as paying bills, health problems, false doctrines, and other cares of this world. It is important to understand what we as mankind are involved in. We are in between a Spiritual battle 24/7 whether we know it or not. A battle that has been going on since lucifer was kicked out of heaven. The Kingdom of God vs. the kingdom of satan. Some natural events occur because of Spiritual events that are taking place. As humans who are unable to see into the Spirit realm it gets hard sometimes to grasp the true understanding of various events in our lives. But thats where faith comes into play, remaining in Gods love, and praying in the Holy Spirit.Depending truely on God and not ourselves, as Peter did that short period of time he walked on water. He denied his carnal and soulish thoughts that would have told him, it is imposstible for man to walk on water, but depending and focusing on God he was able to. Thats the type of dependence we should aim for in our relationship with Christ. 

Jude 20-21,"But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy FAITH and PRAY in the HOLY SPIRIT. Keep yourselves IN GOD'S LOVE as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to Eternal Life."

Staying in God's Love
Requires obedience and total subjection to the voice of the Lord. Not compromising the standards that Jesus has set, and continuing to be set apart from the world. Not attempting to minister to the world while engaging in the acts of the world, and taking on the culture of the world. We are to remain distinctively different from the world. And understanding the difference between hearing vs. listening. 

Inorder to learn when we study our word, attend church, etc we must hear what the Lord has for us so that we are able to implement it when the time presents itself. Hearing bringsforth an action while Listening increases knowledge. Learning occurs through repitiion, and putting information into action. 

Also fellowship is an important part in staying in God's Love, and witnessing or hearing what God has done for others increases our faith and knowledge of God. Lets take a look at the knowledge and authority that God has as he explains himself in:

Job 38
1 Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm. He said: 2 “Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge? 3 Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.4 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. 5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? 6 On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone— 7 while the morning stars sang together and all the angels[a] shouted for joy? 8 “Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, 9 when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness, 10 when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place, 11 when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther;  here is where your proud waves halt’?

12 “Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place,

13 that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it? 14 The earth takes shape like clay under a seal;  its features stand out like those of a garment. 15 The wicked are denied their light, and their upraised arm is broken.16 “Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep? 17 Have the gates of death been shown to you?  Have you seen the gates of the deepest darkness? 18 Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know all this.19 “What is the way to the abode of light? And where does darkness reside? 20 Can you take them to their places? Do you know the paths to their dwellings? 21 Surely you know, for you were already born! You have lived so many years!22 “Have you entered the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of the hail, 23 which I reserve for times of trouble, for days of war and battle? 

24 What is the way to the place where the lightning is dispersed, or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth? 25 Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm, 26 to water a land where no one lives, an uninhabited desert, 27 to satisfy a desolate wasteland and make it sprout with grass? 28 Does the rain have a father? Who fathers the drops of dew? 29 From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens 30 when the waters become hard as stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen?31 “Can you bind the chains[b] of the Pleiades? Can you loosen Orion’s belt? 32 Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons[c] or lead out the Bear[d] with its cubs? 

33 Do you know the laws of the heavens?  Can you set up God’s[e] dominion over the earth? 34 “Can you raise your voice to the clouds and cover yourself with a flood of water? 35 Do you send the lightning bolts on their way? Do they report to you, ‘Here we are’? 36 Who gives the ibis wisdom[f] or gives the rooster understanding?[g] 37 Who has the wisdom to count the clouds? Who can tip over the water jars of the heavens 38 when the dust becomes hard and the clods of earth stick together? 39 “Do you hunt the prey for the lioness and satisfy the hunger of the lions 40 when they crouch in their dens or lie in wait in a thicket? 41 Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?

That chapter speaks for itself, how mighty and powerful God is. We have no choice but to acknowledge him and worship him, and magnify his name. Who holds all power in his hands lol. 

Proof of staying in Gods Love, and Understanding its magnitude is essential, and Paul expressed it to the Ephesians. 
Ephesians 3:18-19," And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."

Building Up Your Most Holy Faith
Faith to believe that Jesus is Returning when the New Age Movement and others deny it,
Faith that Jesus is the only way when many public figures say Jesus isn't the only way,
Faith that we will live eternally with Christ after he returns, while others believe in re-incarnation,
Faith to push past the problems and issues of this world. 

Hebrews 11:1, " Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." 
Faith is believing in who God is, and believing in what he is able and willing to do. Having an object in mind, knowing that God can make it so, and therefore waiting on it to manifest. Waiting is an act of Faith, not confused with doing nothing or complaining. A good example of a group of believers exercising faith, the 120 in the upper room, who waited for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Not knowing what it felt or looked like. But they knew of God, and believed what he was able to do. Why? Because faith builds on top of faith. 

He has given each one of us a measure of faith, but through our walk with him our faith is enhanced and enlarged. This was not the first encounter that required them to exert Faith. As our relationship with Christ begins to grow, our faith will also. God didn't command Moses to part the Red Sea, before he talked to him through the burning bush. 

Praying in the Holy Spirit
Ephesians 6:18,"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people." 

Let us continue to commune with the Lord, gaining knowledge of him and his love for us. Let our love for Christ grow and allow our Faith to be enhanced, while praying in the Spirit.

Psalm 103

1 Praise the LORD, my soul;

all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

and crowns you with love and compassion,

5 who satisfies your desires with good things

Apostasy??


Apostasy means falling away from what one has believed and is the deliberate and permanent rejection of Christianity after a previous profession of faith in it. We will cover a few scripture that discuss this topic, and also issues that are currently going on in the world around us.

1 Timothy 4

Verse 1. Defines the apostasy and entails the causes for the apostasy. Many will Depart from the faith, no longer believing in Christ, because they have believed in another gospel or doctrine. It is mentioned in scripture that warned of Beings, being Spiritual or Natural may preach other gospels different from the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. In this verse it mentions that these individuals will give heed to deceiving spirits. Spirits who manipulate and charm their way into altering the belief of individuals. Altering the format and content of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and formatting it into different forms. Such as “Prosperity Gospel”, “Gospel of Inclusion”, and many others.

These doctrines are described as being doctrines of devils, “Catholicism”, “Islam”, “Jehovah’s Witness”, “Denominations in Christianity”, etc. These are all works of the Evil One, who came to alter and twist the Word of God in order to receive worship from the people and to try to counterattack Gods plan for our lives.

Verse 2. Mentions of teachers who are speaking lies, and know what they are doing is wrong, but are continuing to do them for the Benefit they are receiving (Money, Fame a.k.a Worship). When we are listening to or engaging in activities with teachers of the Gospel we must study the subject matter being taught, whether we know them or not. We must be alert at all times.

Verse 3-5. This verse clearly highlights 2 of the largest religious bodies in the World today. They are Catholicism which forbids priests and nuns to marry which is totally contrary to the Word of God, and Islam which commands its believers to abstain from various meats. It was very beneficial for these verses to be placed in the Bible, for God always warns his people of what is to come.To learn about the past and future, go to the Word of God, and allow God to reveal it to you. Don't depend on man , but Christ!

2 Timothy 3
Verse 1. Warns of Perilous (Difficult or Harsh) times will come. It appears to be a quite difficult time period now. The Earth as a whole appears to be in total discourse. Today we see constant wars (Libya, Middle East, etc), Weather (Mississippi River, Katrina, North Carolina, Japan, etc), Financial crisis (Unemployment, etc), and the list goes on.

Verse 2. Mentions a few traits that can be clearly seen today. Money lovers a.k.a the American dream which doesn’t exist. The music, and every entertainment sources main focus in money. Disobedient to parents, unholy. The world continues to degrade and the philosophers say we are progressing lol. Everything about this world is unholy, even the churches!! Allowing homosexuality, stealing the peoples income, accepting sin. Turning from worshipping God , to worshipping man.

Verse 3. Without natural affection, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self control, brutal, despisers of those that are good. Ability to molest and torture children is continually seen over and over again in our society today in the Catholic Church and outside of it. Teachers engaging in sexual activities with their students. But no one speaks up, we are caught up Watching instead of being Active Leaders in Christ!!

Verse 4. Traitors, reckless, haughty, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God.

Verse 5. This scripture details those who appear to be religious without a true relationship with Christ. They are mockers, and only use the Gospel as a tool for self-gratification.

Verse 6-7. This really explains our current state. We have access to a wealth of information and knowledge, and still can’t conclude that Jesus Christ is the ONLY WAY!!

They are slowly taking away our freedom to speak up and proclaim the truth. Many, who have stood up, have been forced to apologize, thus have been weakened and exposed themselves. Or have twisted the Gospel to please their audience.

HOW DO I STAY OR BECOME SECURE?

2 Timothy 3:15-17,” And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly equipped unto all good works.”

We must stay in the Word of God and meditate upon it daily. It is surely our daily bread, substance that we can’t go without especially in this evil day. We must turn away from the Worlds way of conducting church, and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ. As saints, we are to be sanctified and set apart for his Glory, fleeing from ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS!!! Showing love to all mankind that they too may come to the realization that Christ is the Savior of all men.
Continuing to fast and pray, and overcome our errors/ sins in our lives. We must allow the Holy Spirit to help cleanse us and this will allow the Lord to use us for his Glory. It’s important to receive the Spirit of the Lord and not the Spirit of the World which is against Christ. Embed yourself in the word of God, and pray without ceasing, and allow the Word to re-generate you and make you new. We all must believe in Jesus Christ, and with that belief comes action. Living a life acceptable to God, instruction provided through his holy word.

Spirit of Error


1 John 4:6, "We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error."

It is clearly stated in this verse that those who receive the true Gospel of Jesus Christ as the apostles taught were considered to be in truth, and those who opposed it were in error. In this verse, error means to be in a delusion or decetpion. Those who are in error practice and have different beliefs than of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Its important for us to stay in the Word of God, for it is the truth. It protects us from all deception (error). We must allow the Holy Spirit to aid us in understanding the Word of God.

There is no one better qualified to do so than the Holy Spirit. Lets look and see how this delusion, and state of being in error begins. 2 Thessalonians 2: 10-12,"And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

In this scripture Believed means to trust, with an implication that actions based on that trust may follow. When we truly believe, we will act on what we believe. Thus, If we truly believe in Jesus Christ, we will obey his commands. We will lay our lives down, and become self-less as he was. We will pray and fast, and intercede for the behalf of the saints and the lost souls. We will stand firmly with boldness for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The fruit of God's Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23,"But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.") will be manifested in our lives.

If we do not receive the Word of God with the Love of the Truth, then we are rebellious. We can't pick in choose what parts of the Word of God we will obey, but we must obey all of it. I encourage everyone who reads this, to seek the Lord Jesus Christ for a true understanding of his word, and the plan that he has for your life. This goes beyond any denomination or religious setting that you were raised in. Find Christ, start a relationship with him, and let him lead and guide you.

Those who aren't willing to search out the truth for themselves will fall into those who are bound by the Spirit of Error, not being able to come to truth, because they are depending upon man to lead them. All through the bible and even today, we as humans like to idolize and follow men. But its more beneficial to follow God!!!! As we see in Jude 1:19," These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit." Separate themselves means to cause divisions in the Body of Christ, During this time the apostles were fighting against gnosticism. Through the course of christianity many men have created divisions (denominations) within the Body of Christ. This has weakened it severely, and its due to those who are in the Spirit of Error.

Matthew 7:15-16,"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs, of thistles?" Its certain and key to understand that the false prophets will fit in with the real saints. I onced looked at a picture of a herd of sheep and there was a wolf who was dressed as a sheep and I couldn't pick it out at first sight. We must see the importance in what Jesus is saying here. He goes on to say in Matthew 7:21-23," Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

We must see that Jesus is stressing the fact, that it would be hard to see with our own eyes, who the false prophets are. He gives us the best solution in Matthew 7:24-27," Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mind, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon the rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which build his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."

The solution clearly stated is either we can build our house on the rock (whom is Jesus Christ) or we can build our house on the sand (Mankind). Its up to us whom we will follow. Search out the scriptures for yourself, thus 2 Timothy 2:15,"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." I pray that you all build your house on the rock, and not on man. We must have faith in Jesus Christ and not sand/dust of the earth!!

Sin Traps


"I have an addiction, an addiction has me"

Most people think sin is just sin, I sin today and repent. Then a few days later indulge in those same activities. Sin has an agenda of its own, and its to turn what is holy into the total opposite "Anti-Christ". Sin is like a disease or virus that spreads rapidly like wildfire. It makes more of itself and reproduces quickly. It slowly removes anythig that's Godly in you, turning you into a "Child of the Devil" who is willing to slay Christ. Sin starts off as a small act such as lust, then turns into masturbation, then into fornication, then into Bi-sexuality, then into Homosexuality.

Sin isn't temporary, but longs for deeper involvemnt with you. The more you sin, the deeper entangled in it you become and you begin to make modifications and begin to accept it as a way of life. Before you entertained sin your conscious told you it was wrong, but now you have overpowered your conscious, meaning you have accepted the act as right, and no longer have any bad feelings about engaging in it. During this process you are ultimately closing your own casket, meaning know one is able to rescue you because you see no wrong in what you are doing because you have Believed a lie and are under a delusion (2 thessalonians 2:10-12).

Another common trend that stops people from being preached the truth or ministered to is, the "Don't Judge Me" slur. Most people say only God can judge them, and they don't even have a relationship with God to know his will. Neither do they have his Spirit to bring conviction when they are faced with unknown situations that may be sinful. This mask has to come off inorder for them/you to turn to God and ask for forgiveness and to truly repent. Repent means to turn away and its not saying i am sorry or i apologize, its a new lifestyle. Removing sin out of your life and replacing it with Christ!!

Sin sneaks into little wholes and crevices, seeking to widen those wholes until they have overpowered and possess control over that individual. Sin has a natural effect as well as spiritual effect. Sin starts itself within then begins to show itself outwardly. Showing that it has control over the temple (Individuals Body, whom it possesses). Examples are excessive body piercings, tattoos, and other physical changes. It also effects the mind and the persons way of thinking. Sin turns us into "AntiChrist", sins Job is to make use the very opposite of what Jesus has inteded us to be. Turns marriage between man and woman into man and man, and woman with woman. Totally against God's order.

Sin keeps us away from God!!!!!! We have to keep our vessels pure and clean with the washing of his word. Seeking and thirsting after HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and FLEEING(RUNNING) from what isn't of HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS without HESITATION!!!!

We must express our need for salvation wholeheartedly, inwardly and outwardly through verbal confessions. There are somethings that needs to be "Spoken" outloud. (John 21:15-18) Today the enemy is everywhere, he can't be missed, but through Christ Jesus, we have the ability to "overcome" sin and we must (Revelation 3:21). Sin is seen on the television, radio, music, internet, and even in stores (magazine section, etc). From the human eye it looks as if the devil has won, but God paid the PRICE!! Allows us to have peace and enter his rest during the "Evil Day".
